So a few months ago I was approached by a company on my Instagram about possibly trying out their product. I didn’t ask for it, they were just reaching out to me to see if I would give it a shot. That company was CBDOPS. Now, I know that a lot of folks already know about this company because of bigger names like Mike the Cop and Officer Daniels, but I wanted to give you MY experience and opinion with them.
The guys that run the company hit me up about trying their product. I told them I was pretty skeptical about CBD oil and its “benefits.” I also told them that I didn't have THAT much influence on the people that follow me. They didn't care. They literally told me it didn't matter how many followers I had, as long as I got something out of using it. Okay then, send me a bottle, I’ll give it a shot.
A few days later this little box arrives at my doorstep. It's got Old Glory on the top, so I am already excited about it. Inside the box is a smaller box containing a glass vial labeled CBDOPS. Along with the vial came a certificate from an independent test lab that confirms that there is ZERO THC in the product that you just received. One of the big things that CBDOPS brags about is that they are “100% THC FREE.” It says it on every bottle. Well, that’s pretty cool.
I’ll admit, I was nervous about trying ANY CBD product because, lets face it, being a cop and using CBD oil seems like a double standard. Now, depending on what your state laws are and blah, blah, blah… I’m not going to get into that debate. Marijuana is still illegal in Indiana. CBD oil products are NOT illegal in Indiana, but you still have to be careful about what you purchase, who you purchase from, etc. I wouldn't go to a gas station and buy some “High Times” CBD brownies or anything if I were you…
So once I got the product, I decided that I was NOT going to tell my wife that I was taking it. I wanted to perform a sort of placebo experiment on hER with how I reacted to the product. I know a lot of guys have benefitted from using it with their sleep, attitude, hell, even digestion. I was still a bit skeptical, but I decided to give it a shot.
About a week or so into using it was when I started to actually notice the effects.
As most of you know, I train very hard when I workout. I push myself, and I am constantly nursing sore muscles. I began to notice that my recovery was much faster and I was less sore. I also was more aware of my negative energy, and by that I mean when I would have a complaint come into my head about something going on that day or something not working, it was like I heard myself saying “It aint that bad.” I noticed a HUGE difference in my mental game while I was taking it.
I have been known to express my opinion, whether it's positive or negative, a bit too much. Whether it's at work or at home, I do it. My wife tends to want to call it “whining or complaining,” but I’m not really sure where that comes from…
I also began to notice that I wasn’t having very many issues with digestion or eating certain foods. Typically, if I eat too much of something, I will have some sort of “tummy trouble” as it’s referred to in my house. This was gone. The benefits just kept on coming, and I was really happy with the results after just a few weeks.
The best part came about a month into taking CBDOPS. Now mind you, I have not told my wife that I was using it, but she began to notice little things. My negative attitude was slipping away and I was more “upbeat and happy” as opposed to the normal “Don’t speak to me until I have my coffee” type of guy. (Typical cop attitude…)
She ended up finally asking me about my new attitude and everything. She was like “What’s up with you lately? You seem happy.” I knew at that moment that this stuff was working. If my WIFE notices that my attitude is changing, then it truly is changing. She knows me better than I know myself, so I was definitely sold on it then.

I know as cops we are all afraid of the “Crazy Witch Oils” and the stigma behind them, but I assure you, this product is the real deal. I do suggest, however, that you review your department policies on CBD products and whether or not you can use them.

What did your wife say when you told her ? I have never tried any CBD.
